Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress. In 1983, following her film debut Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack with actors. She was in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986), and WarGames. Sheedy earned the Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy was born in America and she is a performer as well as an author. She began her career in film beginning in the early 1980s, with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her debut success led her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one of the best high school films ever made. While the budget for the film was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. Additionally, she began being featured in various shows on TV such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent program. She also appeared on other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse which is a movie about a superhero where she is a cameo. Sheedy's amazing performances have won many awards including an MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
