Felicity Jones was born in Britain and is most well-known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones was first introduced to acting at twelve years old. She's been an actor in numerous TV shows, plays and film. Her acting career started with the TV movie The Treasure Seekers. Later, in The Worst Witch she played Ethel Hallow. Then came Weirdsistersisters Sisters, a sequel of The Worst Witch. In her film debut Flashbacks of a Fool she appeared as Young Ruth and went on to be featured in numerous films. The actress gained acclaim for her acting in movies such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It was however her character in The Theory of Everything' that earned her an Oscar nomination the first time. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic based on the author's life, was well-received both by viewers and critics. Inferno was the second film in which she appeared, which starred Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her extraordinary talent and work to cinema.
