Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on 8 August 1976. She was eldest of four children. Her parents encouraged her parents, a dentist and teacher who were both teachers to pursue her interest in theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she loved monkeys. It was a quick rise in her career to become an internationally renowned young actor. After completing her studies, she was able to participate in Jeunes Premiers an French show on TV that is a talent-scouting initiative, which is that was sponsored by Canal+. There she received the award for best Young Actress in Beziers Festival of Young Actors. The result was that she decided to begin her professional career as an actor. Although she studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris and was a member of the church during her childhood, Tautou has distanced herself from this upbringing, stating she's not Catholic. She has pursued a modeling career along with her acting career. She is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and has recently exhibited in The Arles International Festival titled Superficial. Through her photography, she focuses primarily on celebrity and fame. The camera's focus is at journalists, who sat and watched her as she rose to stardom in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's debut part, playing Amelie Poulain's leading actor in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie poulain, earned the actress international fame. Amelie was an international box-office film that received acclaim during awards ceremonies across the world. Amelie is the most successful French-language film in the US. Later, in the same year, she appeared in British dramas, including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. After that, Tautou went to Hollywood where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
